Keystone Poker – Media & Photography Policy

1. Purpose of This Policy

The Keystone Poker Media & Photography Policy (“Policy”) outlines how photos, videos, and other media may be captured, used, and shared at Keystone Poker events. Its purpose is to protect player privacy, maintain event integrity, and ensure consistent, respectful representation of our community.

2. Authorized Media Activity

Only authorized individuals may capture or distribute media for official purposes. Authorized personnel include:

  • Keystone Poker staff

  • Approved volunteers

  • Designated photographers or videographers

  • Accredited media partners

Unauthorized individuals may be asked to stop recording or leave restricted areas.

3. Player & Participant Consent

By entering a Keystone Poker event, players and attendees acknowledge that:

  • Photos and videos may be taken during the event

  • Their likeness may appear in promotional materials, social media posts, livestreams, or recap videos

  • Keystone Poker may use captured media for marketing, documentation, and community engagement

Players who prefer not to be photographed may speak with staff, and reasonable accommodations will be made when possible.

4. Restrictions on Photography & Recording

To maintain fairness and protect player privacy:

  • No recording of hole cards or private player information

  • No filming of active hands unless authorized

  • No flash photography during gameplay

  • No obstructing dealers, staff, or player movement

  • No recording of disputes, rulings, or sensitive incidents

Violations may result in removal from the event.

5. Staff Responsibilities

Keystone Poker staff must:

  • Enforce this Policy consistently

  • Ensure media personnel follow event rules

  • Protect player privacy and maintain a respectful environment

  • Report unauthorized or disruptive recording

6. Use of Media by Keystone Poker

Keystone Poker may use captured media for:

  • Event promotion

  • Social media updates

  • Sponsor recognition

  • Website galleries

  • Community storytelling

  • Future event marketing

Media may be edited, combined, or repurposed as needed.

7. Personal Photography by Players

Players may take personal photos under the following conditions:

  • No disruption to gameplay

  • No capturing of other players’ cards

  • No recording of sensitive conversations or rulings

  • No commercial use without written permission

8. Sponsor & Partner Media

Sponsors may request access to event media or capture their own content. All sponsor media activity must be:

  • Pre‑approved

  • Non‑disruptive

  • Respectful of player privacy

  • Consistent with Keystone Poker branding

9. Privacy & Sensitive Situations

Keystone Poker will avoid capturing or publishing media that:

  • Shows minors without guardian consent

  • Depicts medical or safety incidents

  • Includes visibly distressed individuals

  • Violates privacy expectations

Requests for removal of published media will be reviewed promptly.

10. Violations & Enforcement

Keystone Poker may take action against individuals who violate this Policy, including:

  • Verbal warnings

  • Revocation of media privileges

  • Removal from the event

  • Denial of future access

I understand that no compensation will be provided and that I may request reasonable accommodations if I prefer not to be photographed.
